World stock markets are showing a mixed trading pattern in Asia after US stock markets had a mixed closing in their overnight session.
In US stock markets, Dow Jones set another record and closed above 27,000 for the first time. S&P 500 missed by the milestone of closing above 3,000 by a whisker. But tech index Nasdaq closed negative as President Trump tweeted against Facebook’s proposed cryptocurrency Libra.
At the time of writing, major Asian stock markets are seeing a mixed trading pattern on regional economic cues. SGX Nifty is flat, showing that Indian stock markets will continue their current rangebound trend.
US stock futures, especially Dow Jones futures are trading with big gains. European stock futures are also positive after yesterday’s negative closing which hints at a rangebound trend.
Expect world stock markets to trade on local and technical cues as there is no clear global trend currently. Day traders should follow the technical signals of their local markets and trade accordingly.
