World Stock Markets Trend: World stock markets are showing positive trend in major markets at this hour, but this is a weak trend and can reverse at any time.
US stock markets trend & Nasdaq Trend: US stock markets rallied in their overnight session after some deep losses in previous couple of session. Dow Jones rallied to gain more than 400 points. Nasdaq also rose nearly 100 points. But as we had discussed in our previous post, Nasdaq is now near the bottom of its current range and another big fall will confirm its downtrend.
Dow Jones trend & Dow Jones technical analysis: Dow Jones accumulated 400 points in its overnight session, but the index has lost more than 1,000 points this week and has turned negative for the week. yesterday’s daily candlestick charts also show a bearish engulfing pattern. The index has returned to its previous range and now we can expect this index to turn rangebound once again.
Asian stock markets trading today: At this hour all major Asian stock markets are trading positive. Japan’s Nikkei index has gained 1% in early trading.
SGX Nifty today: One futures index is still showing weakness. That is SGX Nifty, the futures index of India’s Nifty 50. SGX Nifty is down by 35 points and shows no signs of recovery. This shows that Indian stock markets may also open negative and continue to trade down.
US Stock Futures: US stock futures are positive at the time of writing. But Dow Jones futures have given up some of the early gains. These numbers will dominate the global trend. If US stock futures turn negative, world stock markets could also change their trend.
How To Day Trade:
- At the time of writing, world stock markets are showing a positive trend.
- Day traders should follow this trend, but keep strict stop loss in their open trades and be ready for any trend change.
- The trend in US stock markets is dominating the trend in world stock markets.
- If US stock futures continue to stay positive, then global trend will also stay positive.
- Any change in US stock markets will affect global trend too.
- This will create high volatility in markets.
World stock markets are trading with positive numbers in early trading. But this trend will depend on the positive numbers of US stock futures. If these futures change their trend, global stocks may also follow that trend change,
